PaperCardShop.com solves that problem.

We screen thousands of cards from more than a hundred publishers and select only the best ones. Our goal is for every card in our collection to be special.

InstaView™, our patented browsing system, lets you browse cards 5x faster than in a store—eliminating the tedious task of taking cards in and out of a display rack.

PaperCardShop.com launched its website in December 2011. We offer cards for important occasions like birthdays and anniversaries, as well as cards for holidays like Christmas and Mother’s Day. Over time, we will greatly expand our collection of cards.

Our aim, however, is not to have the largest collection of greeting cards on the Web. but rather to have the best collection.

Hard-to-find cards from independent designers
In the last dozen years, many new, talented designers have emerged—creating cards that provide an exciting alternative to traditional cards. Typically, these artists distribute their cards themselves or through boutique publishers. Many of their cards are handmade. You won’t find these distinctive cards at the local pharmacy or a franchise card store. You may only find a sampling at an independent card shop.

Our passion is to screen the thousands of cards available from boutique publishers, and to offer you a unique collection of their most appealing designs. In addition, we offer a large selection of quality mainstream cards.

InstaView™: How to browse cards 5x faster than in a store!
With InstaView™, you can quickly find the perfect card.

Start by going to the category page for the type of card that you are looking for, like “get well.” One way to do this is to hover the cursor on “occasion cards” or “holiday cards” in the header at the top of the page.

A dropdown menu appears. Find the category that you are seeking and click on it. That action takes you to a category page with thumbnail images of cards.

Skim the thumbnail images. When a card catches your interest, simply hover the cursor on the thumbnail. Large images of the front and inside of the card appear instantly.

The images disappear when you move the cursor off the thumbnail.

In minutes, you can screen numerous cards and find the special cards you are seeking—cards that will delight the recipients!

More browsing tips
Mark a thumbnail for further consideration by clicking "Mark for later " above the thumbnail. This action highlights the thumbnail in blue so that you can go back to it quickly. Uncheck the box to remove the highlight.

If you wish more information about a card, click on the thumbnail itself. That action takes you to the product-detail page, with a large picture of the card and a detailed description.

Flat rate shipping
You only pay a flat $1.75 shipping fee, regardless of the number of cards in your order. So save time, money and gas by ordering several cards for your current and future needs.

The actual cards are often more attractive than the images you see on your computer screen

We try very hard to capture each card’s image, but some cards are difficult to display accurately on a computer screen. Embellishments like glitter, foil and holograms are challenging. Embossing, layers, and paper texture are difficult. Type and images that are indented (letterpress) or raised (thermographic) are hard to show.

Three-dimensional cards with decorative objects affixed to them and pop-up cards are hard to portray on a flat screen. Gold and silver may appear grayish rather than their true colors. Type is often sharper and more readable on the physical card.

A further complication is that monitors vary greatly in how they portray colors, and in their brightness settings. Over time, computer screens tend to dim, resulting in darker images
